Thumbnail Front of HouseOur house, centrally-located at 335 N 6th St (across from the giraffes at 6th & Madison) in LowerTown, is the last two-story, Pre-Civil War house in Paducah. It was built in 1857, for Mary E. Sebree by her husband. Her name is engraved on the original front stoop. The house has been completely renovated from the walls and floors up: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning.

The house is configured as a gallery for The Egg & I, Fine Art & Crafts and living quarters for the owners, as well as two guest suites on the second floor – the Mary Yeiser suite that has a full kitchen, and the Mary Sebree suite, a more-traditional B&B without a kitchen. An ADT security system offers unparalleled peace-of-mind. Guests are provided with a security pad, and can come and go at will (note: $95 deposit against loss required).

We are an easy walk of six short blocks to the Quilt Museum, and three blocks to Downtown. No need to move your car!

Both suites are about 1,000 sq. ft. Both feature 8’ windows along two walls, a large sitting area, and bedroom. The Sebree suite has one of the largest bathrooms in LowerTown – 10’ x 15’. The walk-in shower is almost 4’ x 6’ itself. Both suites have an open floor plan, separated only by the original fireplace and chimney. Complimentary cable TV and Wi-Fi are provided in both suites. The queen-sized beds in both suites accommodate two guests easily, and the queen-sized sleeper sofa in Sebree serves another two. A rollaway and an inflatable twin are available for either suite.

Guests have access to both front and rear second-floor balconies. The front balcony overlooks 6th St., and provides a commanding view of much of LowerTown to the river. We look forward to welcoming guests to our home. We believe you will love it as much as we do.
